Tyndall Park

is a horse breeding and training facility located 10 miles South of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada.

Directions to Tyndall Park from Salmon Arm

• From downtown Salmon Arm, go West on Highway 1.
• At the west edge of town, just past the Farmer.s Market, there is a sharp 90 degree turn to the right with warning signs and flashing lights.
• After that turn, go about 50 meters and take the first left turn off the highway, onto Salmon River Road.
• Salmon River Road starts off with a couple of sharp twists and turns.
• When it straightens out, you will be traveling west again, and just to keep it interesting, you won.t be on Salmon River Road any more.
• Instead, you.ll be on 10 Avenue. The important thing is to follow the yellow centre line.
• Continue west on 10 Ave for 0.8 (1/2 mile) km. Follow sharp turn to left onto 50 St.
• Go South on 50 St for 3.2 km. Follow sharp right turn onto 50 Ave
• Continue west on 50 Ave for 1.6 km (1 mi). Follow sharp turn to left onto 50 St.
• Go South on 50 St for 1.6 km (1 mi). Follow sharp right turn onto 70 Ave
• Continue west on 70 Ave for 1.6 km (1 mi). Follow sharp turn to left onto 80 St.
• Continue south on 80 for 5? km. At some point along this stretch, you will leave Salmon Arm city limits, and the road becomes Salmon River Road again. House numbers will start over (the lowest one I've seen is 22).
• Follow two 45 degree turns to the left, then a sharp almost 90 degree turn to the right.
• Tyndall Park.s driveway is immediately after that last sharp turn to the right, on the right-hand (west) side of the road.
• There are a couple of large horse paddocks on the road, on either side of our driveway. The house and garage are off-white and fairly close to the road, while the barn and hayshed are red with white trim and further back from the road.

Directions to Tyndall Park from Vernon

• About 10 km north of Vernon, follow Highway 97 west to go to Kamloops.
• Go approximately 25 km west to the turn off onto Salmon River Road, north.
• The road twists and turns for about 30-40 km.
• Go through the community of Silver Creek.
• After Silver Creek, the road straightens out a bit, keep an eye open for street numbers.
• At this point, Tyndall Park isn't marked with a street number, and our sign isn't up yet.
